Description: I copped the image and changed the angle of the river edge for a better composition. I managed to only use the R&C short flat for all the tree leaves which was an improvement for me (using that brush). I planned the composition for the use of the color white to aid in drawing the attention of the view to more areas of the painting causing the viewer to see more while, hopefully, holding their interest. The clouds, also, were an improvement using Michael's technique. I thought it was a difficult painting, but still, I enjoyed getting to participate as a member of the school. 12"x12" Ampersand Gesso Board Smooth, All oils including block in.
