Description: Two years ago, I saw a photo of Dyke Marsh on Facebook and I knew I wanted to paint that scene. It reminds me of the Dutch landscapes that are in the National Gallery. It took me a couple of walks in the Marsh to find the spot where the reference photo was taken but I was so happy when I found the spot and the light was good for some reference photos.
