How do you paint skin using oils?

Painting skin in oils is a rather complex subject with no short and simple answer. However, I am including the subject of portraits in my Online Art School in full detail. The first one has already been put on and it is a close up of a woman’s eye. The response to this tutorial has been quite favourable.
